Allowing Scripts
This site receives FDA-related information through scripts that retrieve relevant content "on-the-fly" from Google and other trusted sources. While some of this content is delivered as advertisements, our context matching is so accurate that the Ad links are actually the best place to find the product, service, or information you were looking for. The revenue generated allows our editors to continually add industry leading content at no cost to you.
You will find custom search windows that direct your query to the best information source. You'll find API pages that retrieve the latest information from manufacturers, the FDA, pharmacies, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, National Institutes of Health, the National Library of Medicine, DHHS, and top industry service providers.
You may not be seeing the entire page
You are seeing the entire page when the Ads by Goooooogle tag appears on the page. If you do not see this tag, the pushed content is being blocked by firewall, cookie, or pop-up control software running on your computer. It could simply be that there are too many files in your Temporary Internet files folder.
This page contains several suggestions to help correct these problems. If your browser does not support iframes, certain information will not be displayed. Browsers supporting iframes: Internet Explorer 4.0+, Mozilla 1.0+, Netscape 6.0+, Opera 4.02+.
If you find this site useful, we recommend that you bookmark the home page (click here to open in a new window). Content is frequently updated. If looking for a top ranked pharmacy, click here to learn more about pharmacy qualification.
If you are experiencing problems viewing pushed content, this is what you need to check:
See if your browser is set to allow Java. On your IE toolbar, select:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level
Next:
- Scroll down to Scripting
- At Active Scripting, select Enable
- Click OK
Running AOL or MSN Ad Blocking may cause errors.
Set your preferences/options to temporarily disable Ad Blocking.
Running Norton AntiVirus with Ad Blocking turned on may cause our pages to improperly load. Often, you will see the Ads, but the links do not function.
To temporarily disable Ad Blocking
- Access Norton Internet Security
- Open Status & Settings
- Deselect Ad Blocking
Clearing your Temporary Internet files will improve performance.
- Access your browser's Internet Properties
(right-click the Desktop icon or click Tools -> Internet Options...)
- On the General tab go to Temporary Internet files and click Delete Files...
- We also recommend that you click Settings...
- Under "Check for new versions of stored files" - Select "Every visit"
- OK your new preferences
If you enter our site via a CompuServe Search (for example, WAL*MART Connect) or Ask.com (Ask Jeeves), you should click the Remove Frame link (usually in the upper right corner). This will allow relevant content to be retrieved.
If a frame containing links to manufacturers, Internet pharmacies, and service providers does not load on each page in the e-Pharmacy, you're running a program that blocks scripts.
In these cases, please temporarily disable your Ad/script blocking programs. Set them to allow Ads/scripts. Content is received from GPO Access, the FDA, NIH, Google, and Kanoodle (Yahoo!).
