The toner light comes on way before your Brother printer is out of toner.

Here are the steps to keep your printer printing.

Step 1: View toner replacement cartidges for the 2140 for tips on identifying the "lower toner" sensors.

 

Step 2: Open the toner cartridge access door and remove the assembly from the HL-2140.

Step 3: Place a piece of masking tape over each sensor hole (there's one on each side).

Step 4: Replace the cartridge into the printer.

Step 5: Close the access door, power-up, continue printing.
