Sec. 184.1115 Agar-agar.
(a) Agar-agar (CAS Reg. No. PM 9002.18-0) is a dried, hydrophyllic,
colloidal polysaccharide extracted from one of a number of related
species of red algae (class Rhodophyceae).
(b) The ingredient meets the specifications of the ``Food Chemicals
Codex,'' 3d Ed. (1981), p. 11, which is incorporated by reference.
